I hope you had a wonderful break! It is so nice to come back and see all the happy, rested faces! I missed our community!
Hat’s off to Lyllis Emerson, Cedra Goldman and THE AUCTION committee! It was a fantastic evening! Getting together with the community could have been a great outcome in itself, but we also raised lots of money that will help keep small adult to student ratios, electives, and much, much more! Thanks also to all who attended and participated. I can’t wait until next year!
Thanks also to all the parents who have provided the monthly staff lunches and the delicious breakfasts this year. Your efforts provide a time of relaxation and fellowship for staff. It’s wonderful and we feel very special!
David Malan recently began working as a paraprofessional here at Polaris. He works mostly in third grade but you could find him anywhere in the building. He comes to us with years of para experience, and we already know he’s a great fit! Please introduce yourself!
Please mark your calendars for Field Day on May 18. On the morning of this day, Polaris staff will host a volunteer appreciation breakfast. If you have volunteered this year, please plan to stop by and let us offer our thanks.
Please be sure to check the school calendar on the website for all the upcoming events!
This time of year brings many occasions for visits to the school. Please be sure to use the proper door, check in at the office, and wear your visitor tag. Thank you to all who are using the crosswalk! It’s much less nerve wracking out there since we don’t have to worry about children crossing all over the street!
As always, if you have questions, compliments for staff or other comments, please feel free to pass them on to me. I am at your service! Thank you all for being the best community out there!
