The North Star Fund raises the majority of funds to create a stable revenue source at our school. It’s a direct donation program through a one-time or recurring monthly donation. Our North Star Fund goal for the 2023-2024 school year is $50,000.
PTO created the North Star Fund to cover the gap between what DPS provides and the actual cost of providing the programs that make such a difference for all our children. It’s a quick and easy way for family, friends, or out-of-town folks to contribute to your child’s education and receive a tax benefit. Every dollar makes a difference, and every gift is 100% tax deductible. Many companies match a charitable contribution made by employees— which could double or even triple your support.
All North Star Fund contributions are tax-deductible. Gifts can be made online via ColoradoGives, check, or cash.
Recurring Donations
Regular North Star Fund gifts are a manageable, hassle-free way to make a difference at Polaris. Recurring donations can be set up online at the frequency of your choice and can be stopped or changed at any time. Visit ColoradoGives , enter your desired gift amount, and under “Donation frequency,” select “Recurring.”

If you get your milk delivered from Longmont Dairy, save your milk caps! Polaris is a participating member in Longmont Dairy’s Milk Caps for Mooola program. Usually there’s a box in the school office for collecting milk caps; however, since the school is currently closed to the public a community member will collect milk caps. If you have a stash of caps ready to contribute, please contact polarisptotreasury@gmail.com.
