Greetings Prospective Families,
Thank you for your interest in Polaris Elementary as an option for your Magnet Eligible 1st-5th grade student.
We are excited for each of you to learn more about Polaris and have the opportunity to see why it is such a special place! We are hosting in-person information sessions and school tours on a variety of Tuesdays and Fridays from Octboer 2022 through January 2023.
The DPS Round 1 SchoolChoice window for 2023-24 school year is around January 14th through around Feb. 15, 2023. To participate in SchoolChoice, families submit one SchoolChoice application per student, on which they rank their top schools in order of preference, up to a limit of 12. DPS then uses a computer algorithm that matches students to schools based on those preferences, as well as school enrollment priorities, and available space.
When arriving at Polaris, please buzz in through the main door located at 410 Park Avenue West, Denver, CO 80205 and check in at the table in the main lobby. All info sessions and tours will begin in the school library. There is 2-hour parking on the streets surrounding the school.
